Our History
Lawrence & Margaret Thoenen started Lawrence Thoenen Homebuilders in 1965. As a team, they worked hard to build affordable, high quality family housing for many families in Jefferson City and the surrounding areas. Margaret continues to serve as President of Lawrence Thoenen Homebuilders.
Margaret’s son, Ken Thoenen, started Action Realty of Jefferson City, Inc. in 1984 after graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia. That same year, Margaret obtained her broker/sales license and partnered with Ken at Action Realty.
Through the years, our agents constantly continue their education through seminars, conventions, classes, and hands-on experience. We may be low in numbers, but we are high in achievements! Action Realty of Jefferson City, Inc. is proud to have two brokers, graduates of the real estate institute (GRI), accredited buyers representatives (ABR), certified residential specialists (CRS), and trained salespeople to provide excellent service for you!
